Charted Way Foundation provides individuals and families who have experienced life-threatening medical hardship the means to rest, recover and revive at the lake.

"Our family had an amazing time relaxing and experiencing the lake, lake house, and exploring the area. As it turns out, we probably should have been vacationing at the lake all along. I’m sure you understand how relaxing and free from the hustle and bustle of a tourist town this experience was. No pressure, just quality family time. The house was great! The boat rental and customer service were excellent. We are so appreciative of Charted Way for providing us with this opportunity. While we wish we had never had to go through this horrible cancer journey, we are thankful for the many relationships we have gained throughout the journey and the recovery."

"Our respite at Angel's Cove-Lake Gaston was wonderfully and thoughtfully planned. The house was well stocked and the property was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing - surrounded by nature, yet close to shops and restaurants. The pontoon boat was so much fun and the staff at Stonehouse Timber Lodge was informative and kind. We loved taking the boat out, especially in the early mornings and evenings when it was so tranquil and still. We could have not asked for a more relaxing, restful experience and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity and the work of Charted Way."

Our last day was the best day because we spent the whole morning at Wobble Island and had the entire place to ourselves for over an hour! Nate said several times how it was the best day ever - he got his life jacket and snorkel on and explored the entire time we were there. We got to spend multiple days with both sets of grandparents cooking, boating and playing games. It was an amazing week and we are so appreciative of you all and your foundation."
